Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing: Identify and generate off-market and listed self-storage development opportunities through cold calling, direct outreach, networking with brokers and property owners, and leveraging industry tools
Networking: Build and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, developers, and industry professionals to establish a steady pipeline of acquisition opportunities
Market Research: Conduct high-level market research to identify high-growth, underserved areas for self-storage development, leveraging demographic data and competitor insights
Outreach Strategy: Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies, including cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person meetings, to connect with potential sellers
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1+ years of experience in sales, deal sourcing, or acquisitions
Proven ability to source leads and build relationships through proactive outreach
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong professional networks
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and timelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic research tools
Preferred
Knowledge of self-storage industry trends and market dynamics
A background in real estate, investment sales, or brokerage is preferred but not required
Existing network of brokers, property owners, and industry professionals
Familiarity with deal sourcing tools and databases
