Wealth Management, Equity Portfolio Specialist, Associate

Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of mentors and a supportive team to help you learn and grow
Come up with innovative ideas to help our business
Take on assignments that directly impact our clients, helping them achieve their business goals
Network with industry leaders, access best-in-class training and learn how all our business work together to provide excellent customer service
Sharpen your technical skills, and finance and accounting principles
Speak regularly with Portfolio Managers to gain insight into portfolio positioning, investment theses and decision-making
Present effectively the portfolio’s thinking and clearly articulating differences across strategies (style, factor, sector, geography, concentration, risk)
Share unique insights and statistics on portfolios, including performance drivers and attribution, factor and style exposures, risk and drawdown metrics, contributors/detractors, valuation and quality indicators, turnover and concentration
Prepare advisor- and client-facing materials that translate complex stock stories into clear, actionable narratives
Monitor earnings and catalysts that impact underlying holdings and portfolio profiles
Partner with Due Diligence and governance teams on ongoing coverage of managers and strategies

Required

Series 7 and Series 63 designations; if not, licenses required within 120 days in the role
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong quantitative skills and a passion for equity investing
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
High standards of service, including strong initiative, energy and confidence
Genuine interest in financial markets, investing and macro-level economics
Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
Authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Preferred

Background in financial accounting, financial analysis or mathematics a plus
Experience with tableau, python, or other data platforms a plus
