They are seeking Project Engineers to join their Major Projects – East Midlands Capital Delivery Team, responsible for managing significant construction and network reinforcement projects.

Responsibilities
The management and control of projects work involving plant, overhead and underground systems, including:-
Project Safety (with a particular focus on ensuring strict compliance with Construction and Design Management (CDM) 2015 regulations)
Manage multiple projects to a recognised project management standard (APM) including forecasting and delivering construction and financial milestones
Project Related Network Risk
Procurement and Contractor Management
SAP duties
Understand the requirements and commissioning of newly installed plant and protection schemes on to the electricity network
Qualification
Required
Practical knowledge of protection and control systems, including the commissioning of such equipment
Familiarity with specifications for plant
Level 3 City & Guilds 2339
HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Foundation Degree (if not already attained)
Self-motivated and adaptable
Ability to demonstrate a high level of autonomy and work effectively under pressure
Ability to maintain the highest standards of quality while ensuring a safe and disciplined working environment
Mobility throughout the network services area
Ability to undertake standby duties in accordance with a pre-determined rota
Satisfactory Barring Service (DBS) check
