The Network Engineer - Configuration and Infrastructure is responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites, focusing on LAN, wireless, VoIP, and IP-based systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks, wireless networks, and VoIP systems
Install and configure IP-based systems including public address/intercom and video camera systems
Configure and support network switches, modules, interface cards, and related infrastructure equipment
Conduct site surveys and on-site assessments to determine network requirements
Develop scopes of work (SOW) and bills of material for network installations
Accept and manage equipment deliveries and coordinate asset tracking documentation
Install power-related equipment including UPS units and step-down transformers
Install and manage Cat6e and fiber patch cords
Troubleshoot LAN equipment and resolve connectivity and performance issues
Review and evaluate IT system designs for compliance with industry standards
Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and status communications
Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and partner organizations
Safely transport and handle tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualification
Required
Active Cisco CCNA certification (must be current)
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure
Hands-on experience with LAN, wireless networking, and IP-based systems
Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex networking problems
Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within established timelines
Valid California Driver's License and use of a personal vehicle
Preferred
Cisco CCNP certification
Aruba networking certifications
Genetec certification
Experience with large-scale, multi-site network environments
