Responsibilities

Lead and support continuous process improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, cost, and throughput

Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

Develop, document, and optimize standard work instructions, routings, and manufacturing processes to support repeatable and compliant production

Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up

Support new product introductions (NPI), production transfers, and scale-up activities associated with the new program

Troubleshoot manufacturing issues on the production floor and drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime and defects

Support compliance with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures throughout all process improvement activities

Utilize metrics and KPIs to measure process performance and report progress to engineering and operations leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Significant experience in an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment

Proven background in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and production optimization

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
