Technical Support Specialist – Financial Services
Abel Personnel is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join a respected and growing financial services organization with multiple locations throughout Pennsylvania. This role involves providing front-line helpdesk support, troubleshooting technology issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations for staff across departments.
Responsibilities
Provide front-line helpdesk and systems support to internal staff
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues
Log and document all service requests accurately
Assist with account setup, permissions, and user access management
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to streamline workflows
Maintain compliance with security and data protection standards
Travel occasionally to other branch offices as needed
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in IT, helpdesk, or technical support
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft 365, ticketing systems, basic networking)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, adaptable, and motivated to grow professionally
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Occasional travel to Lancaster and other regional branch locations
Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
Customer service–first mindset with professionalism and patience
Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and documentation
Comfortable working with KPIs and performance metrics
Self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable
Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
