Responsibilities

Gain visibility into the full spectrum of energy operations—trading, power scheduling, and market intelligence—through the lens of data and technology
Understand complex trade scenarios and how those translate into IT Trading system from deal entry, valuation and settlement
Possess a strong interest in clean energy, trading, or power markets—and a willingness to learn the tech behind them
Demonstrate comfort with data: Excel skills required; exposure to analytics tools or coding (Python, SQL) is a plus
Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
Think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
Show excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Be a self-starter who wants to make an impact and learn how IT enables the energy transition

Required

A motivated undergraduate (Business, Finance, Energy Management, or related field) with curiosity about how technology drives the energy business
Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work between 20 - 40 hours per week
Strong interest in clean energy, trading, or power markets—and a willingness to learn the tech behind them
Comfort with data: Excel skills required; exposure to analytics tools or coding (Python, SQL) is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
A self-starter who wants to make an impact and learn how IT enables the energy transition
Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
