Responsibilities

Review and analyze due diligence reports to ensure loans meet Rating Agency requirements and gradings related to securitized transactions

Ensure compliance with TRID, ATR, RESPA, TILA, and QM regulations, including clearing or curing issues and handling High Priced Mortgage Loans (HPML) at both state and federal levels

Understand securitization valuation requirements and applicable valuation waterfalls

Apply credit knowledge, including underwriting guidelines, industry standards, Rating Agency requirements/gradings, and review of diligence reports and data tapes

Manage the overall due diligence process on purchase and sale transactions, including credit and compliance underwriting, data integrity, and valuation

Summarise due diligence results for appropriate internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrate understanding of Prime and Non-QM loans, including complex income sources, multiple asset layers, and high credit utilisation

Identify and address fraud detection issues and resolutions

Maintain an excellent understanding of underwriting guidelines

Track and resolve collateral exceptions with third-party custodian
