Responsibilities
Perform File QC’s using various playback programs and nonlinear editing systems
View media and identify any defects (digital hits, macro blocking, interlacing, etc...), continuity or incomplete content found during testing
Listen to media and identify any audio dropouts, pops, distortions, etc
Check artwork and metadata to ensure technical correctness/ meets client’s standards
Communicate any issues to the proper parties and oversee corrections for on-time delivery
Create and upload thumbnails and other simple artwork
Follow a fast schedule and be flexible to changes in priorities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of QA/QC experience in a professional setting
Ability to read JSON files/feeds/searches
Exposure to ticketing within Kanban/JIRA
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise direction
Creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proactive and a solutions-oriented team player
Ability to identify probable causes of issues of metadata, artwork, or video imperfections in our pipeline
Preferred
Post-production coordination experience or exposure
Unscripted program workflow experience
Bilingual in English & Spanish - any additional language is a plus
