Hire Point Recruiting is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis initiatives. The role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and strategic modeling processes while partnering with various departments to optimize financial performance and support business growth.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic modeling processes
Build financial reporting packages including KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and margin performance insights
Support pricing, promotional strategy, and cost-to-serve modeling across channels and customers
Drive financial visibility into operational performance, including product costing, landed cost, and distribution economics
Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to model and optimize 3PL and freight spend
Analyze inventory levels, throughput, warehousing, and cost drivers across the logistics network
Build tools to evaluate distribution strategy, including network footprint, mode optimization, and customer delivery economics
Support vendor negotiations by modeling bids, freight contracts, storage agreements, and logistics scenarios
Evaluate cost-to-serve by SKU, channel, customer, and fulfillment pathway
Partner with Sales on demand planning, revenue projections, and commercial performance metrics
Collaborate with Operations to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and margin enhancement initiatives
Support working capital initiatives including DIO, DPO, and inventory turns
Assist with board reporting, investor relations materials, and strategic initiative tracking
Support due diligence, expansion projects, and capital allocation decisions as the business scales

Required

8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, Operational Finance, or Supply Chain Finance
Experience in CPG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, E-commerce, or related distribution/fulfillment-heavy environments
Understanding of 3PL economics, freight, warehousing, and transportation/logistics cost drivers
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and BI/reporting tools
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority
Advanced Excel and financial modeling required; ERP/BI exposure a strong plus

Preferred

Experience in scaling or PE-backed environments preferred
