Responsibilities
Disaster Recovery (DR)
Design and implement DR strategies for infrastructure and applications
Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and applications
Develop recovery solutions including backup, replication, and failover mechanisms
Create and maintain DR documentation such as playbook, runbooks, recovery procedures, and test plans
Perform DR testing to validate recovery capabilities and compliance
Business Continuity Planning (BCP) & Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
Conduct BIA to identify critical applications, infrastructure, and dependencies
Develop and maintain BCPs tailored to organizational needs
Define RTOs and RPOs in collaboration with stakeholders
Assess operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Coordinate continuity exercises including tabletop drills and simulations
Provide training and awareness to staff on continuity and resilience practices
Governance & Compliance
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Collaborate with IT, business units, and leadership to integrate resilience into enterprise architecture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or Risk Management
7+ years of combined experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Risk Management
Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies (AWS / Cloud Infra) and application recovery strategies (databases, middleware)
Expertise in BCP-BIA methodologies and continuity frameworks
Excellent analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred
Preferred certifications: AWS ,Lead Implementer, or equivalent
