Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their reporting requirements, business workflows, and the challenges they face - both operational and technical

Solution Development: Design and build solutions that leverage our platform to meet client needs, including data integration, report customization, and workflow automation

Technical Implementation: Analyze external reports, direct data feeds and internal sources to devise robust and efficient processes for integrating diverse data streams

Product Enhancement: Gather feedback and insights from clients and work closely with the product and engineering teams to address bugs, maintain system stability and develop the next generation of financial reporting software

Training & Support: Provide technical training and ongoing support to external clients and internal users, ensuring their proficiency and satisfaction with our solutions

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals

Reporting : Actively participate in the monthly reporting process to ingest loan data and deliver timely accurate investor reports to hundreds of clients covering various products

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Math or related field

5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, systems integration / implementation, or technical consulting role within the financial services industry

Aptitude for data analysis and extensive experience with data integration

Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases

Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages

Familiarity with Web Apps and RESTful APIs

Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Basic understanding of financial instruments and investor reporting practices with the willingness to learn about more complex products as the role and company grows

Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical audiences and conversely relay business considerations to technical teams

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing both client challenges and internal operational concerns

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
