TPWD - Customer Service Representative I

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is dedicated to managing and conserving Texas's natural and cultural resources while providing outdoor recreation opportunities. The Customer Service Representative I will perform entry-level customer service work, assist with daily office operations, and provide information to park visitors.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Assisting with the daily office operations and clerical duties for Caddo Lake State Park
Processing correspondence, report preparation and answering telephones
Performing revenue collection, license and permit sales, automated visitor registration and reservations
Providing information to park visitors and general public
Responsible for the general routine cleaning of park headquarters
Working under close to moderate supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
Performing additional duties as assigned
Complying with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures

Required

Graduation from High School or GED
Must possess or be able to obtain, within 30 days of employment, a valid State driver's license

Preferred

One year of clerical experience such as accounting, typing, filing, record keeping and data entry
One year of experience using automation equipment or word processing and spreadsheet equipment and software
One year of experience in customer service
One year of experience working with the public
One year of experience handling cash
