Responsibilities
Hands-on management of Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) environments, including assessing, mapping, and documenting the current infrastructure, participating in day-to-day operations, and supporting knowledge transfer to the internal team
Manage and support a virtual server environment running on OLVM/KVM, including tasks such as performance troubleshooting, disaster recovery, high availability, network configuration, and migrations (like-for-like, on-prem to on-prem, and eventually to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
Participate in client-facing activities as an extension of the internal team, support ticket resolution, and facilitate internal training and knowledge propagation
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of relevant experience with OLVM
Strong hands-on skills
Ability to perform intermediate to advanced troubleshooting and migrations
Manage and support a virtual server environment running on OLVM/KVM
Experience with performance troubleshooting, disaster recovery, high availability, network configuration, and migrations
Participate in client-facing activities as an extension of the internal team
Support ticket resolution
Facilitate internal training and knowledge propagation
Authorized to work in the U.S
