Java Full Stack Engineer – Geospatial & Python Solutions
Saicon is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer with strong Geospatial and Python expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and spatial data solutions. The ideal candidate will work across the full technology stack, integrating geospatial data processing, analytics, and visualization into modern cloud-based applications.
Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
Design and develop full stack applications using Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, and Microservices
Build responsive front-end applications using Angular / React / Vue
Develop secure, high-performance backend services and APIs
Develop and integrate geospatial applications using tools such as PostGIS, GeoServer, ArcGIS, QGIS, OpenLayers, or Mapbox
Process, analyse, and visualize spatial data (vector & raster)
Implement spatial queries, geofencing, routing, and mapping solutions
Use Python for geospatial data processing, automation, and analytics
Work with Python libraries such as GeoPandas, Shapely, Fiona, Rasterio, GDAL
Build data pipelines and integrate Python services with Java-based systems
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Full stack experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
5+ years of experience in Python
Experience with GIS platforms, spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial indexing
