Responsibilities
Lead the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A, and restructuring/recapitalization transactions
Perform detailed financial analyses, including valuation, discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable company analyses
Prepare client-facing materials such as pitch books, offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses
Conduct due diligence and analyze corporate and financial information to support transaction execution
Develop and maintain client relationships through active involvement in deal execution and strategic pitching
Collaborate on mandates for Latin American clients where language skills and cultural understanding are critical
Engage directly with senior executive management teams of client organizations
Qualification
Required
Native Spanish fluency
Strong familiarity with the business and capital markets environment in Latin America
Undergraduate degree with 1–3 years of investment banking experience
Proficiency in financial modeling and structuring for cross-border M&A transactions, as well as debt and equity capital markets offerings
Ability to work effectively on multicultural and multilingual projects
Currently based in New York or willing to relocate
Preferred
Advanced financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting knowledge
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously
Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
Proven team player with leadership potential
