Job Captain / Project Coordinator
ARCHITECHNICA is a Stockton, California-based architecture firm specializing in Public Architecture, particularly K–12 public schools. They are seeking a Job Captain/Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of public-sector architectural projects, working closely with Project Architects and Project Managers while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Support project programming, coordination, and day-to-day management
Contribute to all phases of design using hand sketching, SketchUp, Revit, and other design and presentation tools
Develop a key understanding of client’s program, requirements, and standards
Develop and coordinate construction documents using Revit
Assist with specifications editing and organization
Provide cost-estimating support to develop project estimates through material identification and quantity takeoffs with the support of the Project Architect
Support bidding and contractor procurement activities
Participate in construction observation and coordination with consultants and contractors
Assist and mentor project team members, gaining exposure to additional responsibilities consistent with professional licensure
Ability to communicate planning concepts to project teams both verbally and graphically
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture with 3+ years of professional experience, OR
10+ years of documented architectural experience
Strong working knowledge of Revit required
Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks and deadlines
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Interest in public-sector and community-focused architecture
Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
Preferred
Experience with Educational, Government, Cultural, Multifamily, or Athletic Facility projects is a plus
