This role involves deep hands-on expertise in .NET, SQL Server, and legacy system modernization, while also guiding teams and collaborating closely with customers.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise .NET applications
Architect and deliver new features within an existing, complex legacy system while ensuring system stability
Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across code, logs, and databases to identify and resolve root causes
Work primarily on backend development, with occasional UI development using FoxPro and Angular
Participate across the SDLC:
Story writing and grooming
Code reviews and design reviews
Testing, release, and deployment activities
Customer issue resolution and escalations
Maintain and improve SQL Server performance and backend data integrity
Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural best practices, and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographical locations
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
12+ years of overall software development experience
10+ years experience designing and developing .NET applications
10+ years hands-on experience with SQL Server
5+ years experience with legacy technologies (FoxPro / Visual FoxPro)
Experience working with Angular for frontend development
5+ years experience using Git, Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Skilled with Visual Studio, VS Code, Visual FoxPro, SQL Server, Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, TFS
Strong verbal and written communication skills (email, IM, meetings)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Proven problem-solving and analytical mindset
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback during code reviews
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Proactive in providing regular work updates and managing responsibilities independently
Preferred
Experience in the Healthcare domain
Prior experience handling customer-facing technical escalations
Exposure to application modernization initiatives
