American Products, Inc. (API) manufactures architectural metal products and is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day activities across all departments. The role involves leading operational improvements, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Oversee office operations and support departments as necessary

Collaborate with all other departments in order to achieve goals and customer satisfaction

Perform internal training on all office protocols, procedures and other required areas

Document, write and/or update existing Training Manuals, SOPS, etc

Ensure efficiency throughout all departments and determine new best practices

Document best practices and work with department heads and CEOs to implement such methods

Work directly with customers as well as internal staff

Assist in the selection, supervision, and development of personnel

Participate in HR, Sales, Marketing, Project Management, AP/AR, etc., as needed

Required

5+ years' in a management role

Industry experience in at least one of the following; Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution

Exquisite interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Very strong attention to detail

Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Strong clerical and organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills and customer satisfaction

Capability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced working environment with the ability to multi-task without getting flustered

Proven track record in dealing with various personalities, working styles and departments while successfully managing a very busy, customer-focused office

Advanced computer skills a must
