Spinnaker SCA is hiring for the Softeon WMS Technical Consultant position. This role involves identifying and solving customer information and processing problems, developing solutions, and working closely with customers during the implementation of Softeon WMS and related systems.

Responsibilities

Accomplishes business objectives by identifying and solving customer information and processing problems

Identifies project requirements by interviewing customers and stake holders; analyzing operational processes and implemented technical solutions (Warehouse Management Systems, MHE/Automation, RF, Printing and Shipping Solutions); determining project objectives; documenting results; preparing findings and follow-ups

Develops problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications

Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular product or platform to the completion of moderately complex assignments

Performs detailed design for Softeon specific enhancements

Works with customers to test and implement interfaces between Softeon WMS and external systems

Works directly with the customer project team during configuration, testing, training, and implementation. Leads parts of the CRP or functional reviews of WMS

Performs professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve

Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments that have direct impact on department and are results. Receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues

Implements prototype solutions then validates and verifies results by completing tests

Prepares customers to use system by conducting training:developing SMEs and assisting with End-User development

Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

Maintains and shares professional and technical knowledge with clients and peers

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required

Strong WMS Experience

Experience with SQL (Oracle preferred)

3 years of experience with ZPL for labels

Experience using integration protocols (WebService, SQL, XML, etc.)

Provides senior level design for client specific enhancements

Proactively troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during the implementation

Experience working in a client/customer facing role within a supply chain or software organization

Experience in Business Process Definition, Support, and Design

Tier 1 or Tier 2 WMS experience

WMS application to support warehouse operations

Printing solutions: documents and labels

Shipping solutions: Fedex, UPS, USPS, DHL, freight carriers

Past experience as a WMS SME with knowledge of Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, cycle counting, general warehousing, and MHE/Automation integration

Strong leadership skills with past experience in leading workstreams and teams in problem resolution, new development of processes, and implementation of WMS application, modifications, or extensions

Strong experience in BI/BA tools, reports, and dashboards

Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods, and platforms

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
