Responsibilities

Own and grow the firm’s power trading P&L across day-ahead, real-time, and forward markets
Develop and execute short- and long-term trading strategies across ISOs (NYISO focus preferred)
Lead, hire, and mentor a team of power traders and analysts
Oversee risk management frameworks, position limits, and compliance with market rules
Partner with analytics, origination, and asset teams to monetize generation, load, and congestion opportunities
Drive expansion into new products, nodes, and regions as the platform scales
Serve as the senior trading voice with counterparties, exchanges, ISOs, and internal stakeholders

Required

10+ years of experience in power trading with demonstrated P&L ownership
Deep expertise in NYISO markets; experience in PJM and ISO-NE strongly preferred
Proven leadership experience managing trading teams
Strong understanding of LMPs, congestion, capacity, ancillary services, FTRs/TCCs, and virtual trading
Experience working with risk, credit, and compliance functions in a regulated environment
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus

Preferred

Experience in PJM and ISO-NE strongly preferred
