Responsibilities
Design : Design and development of jet propulsion components and systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards
Project Involvement : Be part of propulsion-related projects from concept through testing, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and budgets
Testing and Validation : Be part of test plans for propulsion systems, analyze test data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support design validation and certification efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems into aircraft platforms
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements, contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of work experience in jet propulsion engineering or a related aerospace field, with a proven track record of successful projects
Experience in propulsion system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials used in aerospace applications
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
Preferred
Experience with engine testing processes
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and emerging propulsion technologies
