Responsibilities

Monitoring and controlling the various unit operations via the process control system, checking product quality and progress
Acquiring general knowledge of the plant boiler, and acquiring required boiler license(s) as soon as possible within four-year wage progression period
Conducting boiler water analysis and boiler spot-checks as required
Following documented process procedures and timely completing required paperwork
Conducting environmental inspections and required emergency response
Completing and coordinating Safe Work Permits
Performing a variety of basic preventative maintenance tasks on plant systems and equipment
Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Performing Behavioral-Based Safety observations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Required

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
Must be able to operate machinery and/or Industrial equipment, including a forklift
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred

Experience in production-related work
Prior HAZ CHEM/Chemical industry experience
Basic computer skills
