CHEManager International is a leading organization in innovative research and development seeking a Research Scientist - Applied Perception. The role involves overseeing research projects in auditory perception and supporting advancements in virtual and augmented reality technologies.

Responsibilities

Oversee and drive research projects focused on speech quality and auditory perception, analyzing results statistically and reporting findings

Monitor project progress, identify issues, facilitate resolution, and proactively keep projects on schedule

Implement and conduct pilot listening tests and other perceptual experiments to gather user insights

Regularly communicate project updates, dependencies, and potential risks to stakeholders

Support research scientists and engineers within the team to achieve shared goals

Required

Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or similar language - working on internationalization change in the role

Proficiency with scientific programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, or R

Master's degree or equivalent experience in fields like Computational Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Electrical Engineering, Perception, Experimental Psychology, Audio Engineering, Acoustics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
