Responsibilities
Documentation: Ability to comprehend complex technical documents and engineering concepts
Technical Design: Utilizes SolidWorks for part and assembly design, as well as manufacturing process and tooling design
Change Control: Understands product launch, lifecycle, and change control protocols
Culture: Promote AEF’s culture of integrity throughout all operations
Work Space: Comfortable in a hands-on environment ,working with products in a typical manufacturing setting
Qualification
Required
4-year degree required; graduate in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related tech field
Ability to comprehend complex technical documents and engineering concepts
Utilizes SolidWorks for part and assembly design, as well as manufacturing process and tooling design
Understands product launch, lifecycle, and change control protocols
Promote AEF's culture of integrity throughout all operations
Comfortable in a hands-on environment, working with products in a typical manufacturing setting
Must be a US Person as defined by ITAR
Preferred
Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D and 3D design fundamentals)
FEA, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
Has or could lead a Quality Control (QC) team
Six Sigma Green-Belt or similar Lean skills; or the drive to learn these skills
Ability to gain knowledge needed to meet ISO 9001:2015 standards for Design & Manufacturing
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Solidworks
