Responsibilities
Receive and process shipments: perform incoming inspection, record part details, and inventory hardware to ensure traceability
Organize and maintain inventory of ECUs, displays, antennas, harnesses, and lab/test tools; keep storage areas clean and labeled
Build, configure, and maintain lab benches and automation racks, including ECU mounting, cable management, labeling, power distribution, and basic power/boot sanity checks
Create, modify, and rework test harnesses (crimping, pinning/repinning connectors, continuity checks, and basic soldering/heat-shrink as needed)
Support sourcing and logistics: help coordinate with internal teams to obtain ECUs and supporting parts; track requests, ETAs, and delivery status
Assist engineers with routine lab tasks (hardware swaps, peripheral setup, rework, instrumentation connection) to minimize integration downtime
Maintain bench documentation: wiring diagrams/photos, rack layouts, part lists
Track lab requests and issues and communicate status to engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills; comfortable with inventory systems, spreadsheets, and basic tracking processes
Hands-on experience with lab tools and practices (multimeter, power supplies, hand tools, ESD practices; clean wiring/cable management)
Ability to follow build instructions, wiring diagrams, and labeling procedures with attention to details
Preferred
Experience with bench automation setups (racks, relays, power cycling, remote access/KVM)
Light scripting/automation for repetitive tasks (batch/Python)
