Responsibilities
Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Ensure all machinery is up to working standards
Create CNC Programming for fabrication and machining
Controlling machines and processes
Operate and maintain operation of CNC lathes, mills, and/or gear grinders as well as hand and power tools as required to perform job assignments
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
CNC machining experience
Machine shop environment background
Blueprint reading
Basic hand tool knowledge
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Operating CNC turning, and/or milling, grinding, and gear shaping equipment
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Must be able to understand and properly use fixtures and tooling
Possess strong attention to detail and communication skills, both written and verbal
