Responsibilities
Work from and follow travelers, shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, customer orders, designated lists, packing slips, written/visual instruction, and verbal instructions to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules
Oversee/perform outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments
Provide visual inspection and accurate counts on product packed
Coordinate with customer service regarding updates, cancellations, and changes
Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate effectively with all internal customers in both written and oral form
Ability to perform the duties of the job applying basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers
Basic computer skills
