GE Aerospace – Talent Assessment Internship, Summer 2026
GE Aerospace is seeking a Talent Assessment Intern for Summer 2026 to contribute to enterprise-wide talent strategies. The intern will work on projects related to talent assessment, development, and performance management while leveraging data analytics skills to deliver insights that inform future strategies.

Responsibilities
Contribute to projects related to talent assessment, talent development, performance management, and talent planning
Support current initiatives by leveraging expertise in talent management topics
Translate best practice research into practical recommendations
Deliver rigorous, data-driven insights that evaluate the effectiveness of current approaches and inform future strategies
Define key talent metrics (e.g., quality of hire) and recommend measurement strategies
Build executive-level interview guidance
Help connect executive assessment and interview data and insights
Shape 360° feedback strategies for employee development
Analyze assessment data and link to criterion data
Design and analyze data from Voice of Customer surveys

Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled full-time in a Ph.D. degree program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required. This role is restricted to U.S. persons. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
Available to work full-time for 12 consecutive weeks during May – August 2026
Preferred
Strong knowledge base in talent management topics (e.g., best practices and evidence-based approaches related to talent assessment, talent development, and performance management)
Technical expertise in talent assessment validation methodologies
Strong statistics and data analysis skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data tool (e.g., R, Python)
Action-orientation and proactive problem-solving mindset
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong collaboration/interpersonal skills for effectively partnering with employees at all levels
Organized, curious, and proactive; able to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
Experience building dashboards in Tableau
