Real Estate Associate Attorney
Wick Phillips is a full-service business law firm founded in 2004, seeking a dynamic and dedicated Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their growing team. The role involves providing legal representation and advisory services in commercial real estate transactions, requiring strong transactional experience and excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements
Conduct and coordinate real estate due diligence including title and survey review, environmental and zoning analysis
Manage and close real estate transactions from term sheet to post-closing
Advise clients on a broad range of real estate legal issues including land use, construction, landlord-tenant matters, and property management
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations
Liaise with brokers, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and outside counsel as needed
Assist with litigation matters related to real estate disputes, if applicable
Maintain organized records and support risk management initiatives

Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
4-6 years of relevant real estate law experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships at all levels
Proactive approach to problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail and ability to consider alternative solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Technologically proficient with experience using legal software and tools, including Westlaw/Practical Law, iManage, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite
Physically able to lift and carry 10-40 pounds, move between floors, sit for extended periods, and perform office-related physical activities as needed
