Responsibilities
Support staff and Project Managers in developing design layouts and frameworks for projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications
Generates the development of design concepts under the guidance of senior staff, contributing to the creative and technical process
Research design and planning to ensure alignment with project goals
Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data for informed decision-making
Participate in writing reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations
Research and gather data on building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements to ensure compliance
Join in site visits to assess project conditions, gather information, and ensure design accuracy
Collaborate with other junior support staff and interns, sharing expertise and assisting with task completion
Develop an understanding of managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met through effective collaboration
Provide support as needed to meet project milestones and keep tasks on track
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
3+ years of related experience
If not already licensed, demonstrated interest in actively pursuing or defining a path towards licensure
Able to advance ideas effectively, demonstrating initiative in project development
Demonstrated understanding of basic drawing conventions and concepts
Has a growing capacity to manage multiple tasks across various projects while effectively meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willing to develop professionalism, punctuality, organization, and strong communication skills
Ability to proactively seek guidance and support from colleagues
Open to participating in office and firm-wide activities
Proficient in Revit
Capability in AutoCAD and Rhino
Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience with Bluebeam and Enscape
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
