Analyst II - Sr
Entergy is a leading energy company, and they are seeking a Senior Analyst to gather and interpret complex data to enhance billing accuracy and timeliness. This role involves collaborating with various departments to optimize processes and ensure data integrity related to manual meter reads and billing exceptions.

Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret data for problem solving to minimize meter exceptions and provide sustainable results
Submit reports to the relevant department heads and management
Find patterns and trends in the analyzed data
Help management and other teams draw business goals and needs
Formulate procedural manuals for department
Must be adept to learning multiple data sources to provide insightful analysis and reporting
Develop strong relationships across the operations
Provide support to ensure data integrity of information into the MDMS system
Create job aids and other tools to further educate the organization on how the systems function end to end and what is needed to maintain accuracy and timeliness of bills
Develop reporting to allow for more real time understanding of the functioning of the meters
Manage invoices, reports, change orders, reconciliations, and monthly cost tracking for HWY projects across the state
Track permits, manage bond space, coordinate approvals, and act as permitting SME for HWY projects with Contract Compliance group
Set up projects in Microsoft Project, track status/milestones, adjust commit dates, and create Minor Adds
Conduct franchise/city/prior rights research using records and data sources for HWY projects across the state
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
2-4 years of relevant experience for Analyst II
4-6 years of relevant experience for Analyst III
6 plus years of relevant experience for Analyst Sr
Ability to manage multiple projects and operate in a rapidly changing work environment
Proficiency in Excel, CCS, Maximo, Click, MDMS
Knowledge of AMI and Smart Grid network management tools
Strong ability to apply broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
Ability to resolve issues by leveraging resources throughout the organization
Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Specific knowledge of Meter Data Management Software (MDMS)
