Responsibilities

Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal correspondence and documents

Appear at hearings and trial in both state and federal courts

Take and defend depositions

Supervise and conduct complex legal research and analysis

Collaborate in case strategy discussions

Communicate and work with local counsel

Contract reviews and redlines

Draft and review purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transactional documents

Perform day-to-day case management and maintain client files

Required

Approximately 3-5 years of experience

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Virginia State Bar admission

Attention to detail and commitment to excellence

Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Individuals who are driven, possess a desire to develop and invest in their careers and the Firm, and demonstrate superior client service skills

Outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience handling projects and cases from initial intake to final resolution, whether those be litigation or corporate in nature
