Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Metric Geo is a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering firm seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer/Manager to lead impactful infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing complex projects, mentoring junior engineers, and serving as the primary representative to municipalities and utilities.
Responsibilities
Lead planning, design, and analysis for water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment facilities, wells, and storage tanks
Perform hydraulic calculations and develop layouts for complex systems
Produce biddable documents, technical reports, and correspondence for treatment plant upgrades and regulatory compliance projects (arsenic, radium, iron removal, etc.)
Serve as the firm’s primary representative to municipalities, utility authorities, and private utilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Mentor junior engineers and lead project meetings with clients and contractors
Qualification
Required
8+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater equipment and systems
Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and codes
Experience mentoring staff and leading multidisciplinary teams
PA Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain reciprocity
