Responsibilities

Direct and supervise payroll staff

Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule for all employees

Maintain compliance with IRS, FLSA, state/local tax laws, and company policies

Oversee garnishments, deductions, and benefits integration

Review and reconcile payroll accounts and prepare financial statements

Generate quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc payroll reports

Maintain accurate records for audits and SOX compliance

Partner with HR for onboarding, terminations, and compensation changes

Work with Finance on reconciliations and audits

Manage payroll systems (Paylocity)

Drive process improvements and system upgrades

Train, and mentor payroll staff

Monitor team performance and provide ongoing development
