Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day needs of the Systems Project Engineering team, including training, and coaching new team members, performance evaluations, schedule management, escalation resolution, and coordination with other teams and customers
Drive long term process improvements and increase team efficiency through lessons learned analysis, creative preventive action plans and driving those plans through implementation
Mentor team members and create an environment where employees can grow and succeed in their chosen career paths
Keep the team engaged, motivated and productive
Provide hands-on technical training and support for employees as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or computer science
7+ years of experience in a technical engineering role
3+ years of experience in a role of Lead Engineer of projects, working at a detailed design level on power systems protection, controls, or automation
Extensive knowledge demonstrated in Substation Protection, Automation and Network communications solutions
Ability to analyze customers' technical specifications regarding the application of PA products and systems, apply appropriate solutions to meet the customers' expectations in a cost-effective way on a timely manner
Ability to travel up to 35%
Preferred
Master's degree or higher
Strong communications skills and demonstrated presentation skills to diverse audiences
