Responsibilities
Work on retail refrigeration and HVAC systems (includes food service-related equipment, and other food service-related equipment such as ovens, deep fryers. Walk in coolers/freezers and heating/air conditioning equipment)
Basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs
Basic maintenance such as repairing plumbing system, doors, locks, and changing bulbs
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record
At least one year experience in food service equipment HVAC/Refrigeration
Have or able to obtain a DOT medical card
Knowledge of tools, materials, and practices related to facility construction and maintenance
Able to understand instructions and communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Team player, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance
Basic computer skills, including ability to use an iPad and work order software
Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Operation of power and manual tools
Operation of light and heavy equipment
Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, requires extensive travel
Work extended hours out of doors in varying weather conditions
Perform heavy manual labor
Able to squat and kneel on a regular basis
Climb and work on ladders and is comfortable working and operating equipment at various heights
Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds
Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public
Follow written and verbal instructions
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
