Systems Engineer II / Scrum Master - Mission Training Team (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Own the Systems Mission Team Agile cadence and support the Product Owner in Planning
Work across agile teams in the department for dependency and risk management
Help to remove blockers from the team and collaborate on problem solving with program leads and subject matter experts
Perform system verification and validation, and evaluate alternatives solutions to issue resolution, identifying impacts to cost and risk, for supportability and system impact
Collect data and perform standard analysis of data, identifying findings as appropriate
Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Consider and evaluate alternative accounting for similar metrics
Follow configuration process, perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and provide input on trade studies
Conduct requirement allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred

Experience with cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control applications
Experience with communication systems, navigation systems, and networks
Experience with design, analysis, test, and certification, integrating them into the Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Training Environment
