LHH is currently recruiting for an accounting and finance leader for a manufacturing company. The Controller will oversee all accounting activities, lead the accounting staff, and ensure proper cash flow management while preparing financial statements and managing balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting activities including general ledger, costing, payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, and credit

Leads, supports and provides day to day guidance of accounting staff members

Daily cash monitoring and analysis to ensure proper handling of cash flow

Responsible for creating & posting all journal entries and related schedules for month end close

Prepare monthly fixed asset depreciation along with additions, disposals and transfers

Prepare and consolidate financial statements

Complete related management reporting

Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis

Interact with the banks regarding credit agreements and lines of credit

Problem solve any issues that may arise within accounting systems

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA preferred5+ years supervisory experienceComputer skillsProficiency with ERP systemsManufacturing job costing experienceBusiness acumenCommunication skills
