Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair aerial telecommunications lines and related equipment
Safely climb poles and use bucket trucks to perform overhead line work
Operate and maintain equipment such as lashers, strand machines, and hand/power tools
Read and interpret construction prints, work orders, and route maps
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Drive and transport materials and crew to job sites (CDL required)
Qualification
Required
Valid CDL Class A or B (Do not apply if you do not have a CDL)
Minimum 1 year of experience as an aerial lineman in the telecom or utilities industry
Ability to climb poles and work at heights using safety gear
Knowledge of fiber optic and coaxial cable installation techniques
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
CPR/First Aid Certification
Experience with fiber optic splicing (a plus)
