Business Development Specialist
Concrete Careers is seeking a motivated and results-driven Precast Concrete Sales Representative to develop and manage sales across the East Tennessee territory. This role involves building relationships with contractors, engineers, developers, and municipalities to promote and sell precast concrete products and solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales of precast concrete products within the East Tennessee territory
Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, developers, and municipal clients
Identify new business opportunities and track upcoming projects in the region
Promote company precast products and services, including project-specific solutions
Work closely with estimating, engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution
Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and product information
Attend pre-bid meetings, jobsite visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the territory
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and forecasts
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
3+ years of sales experience in precast concrete, concrete products, construction materials, or related industry preferred
Knowledge of construction practices, plans, specifications, and bidding processes
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout East Tennessee
Preferred
Existing relationships within the East Tennessee construction market
Technical understanding of precast concrete products and applications
Experience selling to DOTs, municipalities, or utility markets
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive drive
