Vibration Specialist – ISO Cat III

Responsibilities
Perform advanced vibration analysis and diagnostics on rotating machinery
Develop and execute predictive maintenance strategies
Deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations for asset health
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams
Enhance asset reliability and operational efficiency
Conduct field inspections and support client sites (25% travel in North America)
Qualification
Required
Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category II (required)
5+ years in vibration analysis, diagnostics of complex rotating machinery
Hands-on experience in the Pulp & Paper industry
Maintenance/reliability background in heavy industry
Skilled in rotor balancing and mechanical corrections
SAP Plant Maintenance experience
Proficient in technical documentation and reporting
Preventive maintenance execution
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Commitment to industrial safety
Understanding of mechanical behavior and failure mechanisms
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without the need for visa sponsorship (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Physical condition for field inspection in Pulp and Paper Mills
Communication: ability to express themselves with correctness, certainty, and objectivity, transmitting security and confidence
Emotional stability: the ability to present a calm and balanced temperament, with self-control of their actions
Preferred
Certification in Vibration Analysis – ISO Category III (a plus)
Additional certifications in predictive maintenance (ultrasound, thermography) (a plus)
Technical degree or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred)
Proficiency with SKF software platforms and vibration data collectors
