Responsibilities
Design, code (PowerOn, SQL, etc.), test, and deploy custom solutions, reports (like Symform PDF), and enhancements for the Episys core
Build and maintain connections between Symitar and third-party platforms (using SymXchange, Symform, web services)
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system stability and data integrity
Work with business units, IT, and project managers, providing technical guidance and support
Create and maintain technical documents, procedures, and code standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of hands-on Symitar programming experience, including PowerOn scripting and Symitar system administration
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with system integration, automation, and process improvement
Preferred
Knowledge of compliance, security, and internal controls related to core banking systems
Experience with additional Jack Henry products/modules
