Responsibilities

Review and oversee mobile testing executed by both onshore and offshore QA teams

Enhance product quality by identifying and helping to fix bugs before release

Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality outputs

Mitigate risks by identifying issues early in the development cycle

Develop automated test scripts and frameworks for Android and iOS (XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, UI Automator)

Conduct usability and accessibility tests, ensuring apps are intuitive and inclusive

Advocate for QA best practices, driving improvements in both product and process quality

Lead and mentor junior QA team members, contributing to team growth and capability

Required

7+ years of professional QA experience

Proven track record in mobile native application testing for both iOS and Android

Experience testing across mobile, web, and backend services

Strong background in automation frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, UI Automator)

Hands-on experience writing automation scripts from scratch

Skilled in QA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail for test case management and defect tracking

Solid understanding of Agile SDLC, QA methodologies, and test strategy

Keen eye for visual and UI details (pixel alignment, margins, styling)

Capable of creating and executing manual tests for mobile apps when needed

Strong communicator with a collaborative, approachable, and professional attitude

Self-starter mentality with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality work

Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments, with external clients and vendors

Willingness to occasionally travel for company/team events (valid passport required)
