Design and scale battery cell screening methodologies that bridge development and manufacturing
Standardize, automate, and optimize test methods for development and production cells
Prevent reliability risks and accelerate qualifications of new designs, materials, and processes
Advance the ceramic solid electrolyte technology
Improve yield and help scale-up the ceramic separator manufacturing process
Develop next-generation processes and tools for separator manufacturing
Interface seamlessly with mechanical and controls engineers on the team
Design and scale unique solid-state lithium metal batteries for high volume production
Design new cell structures, encasings, components, and assembly tools
Validate the fidelity of new designs
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and scaling battery cell screening methodologies
Expertise in standardizing, automating, and optimizing test methods
Experience in materials or process development
Strong background in processing or materials
Experience working on equipment and interfacing with mechanical and controls engineers
Experience in designing and scaling solid-state lithium metal batteries for high volume production
Experience working with electrochemical energy storage devices such as lithium-based batteries or similar technology
Preferred
Motivated expert ceramist or material scientist
Experience in ceramic solid electrolyte technology
Experience in improving yield and scaling up manufacturing processes
Experience in guiding design and process approaches for production tooling
