Responsibilities
Serve as the WMG YouTube team’s lead data resource, applying YouTube Analytics, monthly reporting, and the YouTube API to pull, prioritize, and coordinate key data and metrics
Analyze account performance, campaign data, and platform trends to provide strategic insights and guidelines to global teams and senior leadership
Manage commercial programs for assigned accounts, overseeing artist campaigns and partner relationships to drive revenue and market share
Collaborate on cross-functional projects dedicated to identifying and completing revenue-generating opportunities across assigned accounts
Act as a subject matter expert on account platforms and features, educating internal teams, labels, and affiliates on guidelines, optimization, and new opportunities
Serve as a point of contact for a blocking issue and coordinate with various internal departments and YouTube to resolve issues and inconsistencies within our YouTube network
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of YouTube
3–5 years experience in data analytics, preferably in music, entertainment, or digital media
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously
Proven success in turning data into actionable business strategies
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, cross-functional environment
Experience with Python and/or SQL
Communication and storytelling skills—able to bridge the gap between data and creative teams
Diligent, with a strong sense of curiosity and problem-solving instincts
Proficiency in Google productivity tools (e.g. Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
Preferred
Knowledge of the YouTube CMS
Understanding of online video trends and practices
