Responsibilities
Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for Epic Cadence issues escalated from lower support tiers
Analyze scheduling and access workflows to identify revenue integrity risks, inefficiencies, or breakdowns
Translate business and operational needs into functional and technical design specifications
Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic Cadence functionality and related tools
Perform routine system administration and maintenance activities
Partner with Revenue Cycle, Access, Clinical, and IT teams to ensure scheduling workflows support accurate charging and reimbursement
Lead or support projects, including documentation, work planning, testing, and coordination
Monitor application performance and recommend tuning or optimization as needed
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and enterprise initiatives
Develop and maintain application documentation, testing scripts, and support materials
Follow established production change management and governance processes
Provide application training and knowledge sharing for end users and IT staff
Serve as an Epic Cadence and Revenue Integrity SME, advising on best practices and strategic opportunities
Mentor junior analysts and provide coverage support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Business, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, application support, or revenue cycle-related systems
Strong understanding of Epic Cadence scheduling workflows and their downstream revenue impact
Experience supporting or optimizing access, scheduling, referrals, or front-end revenue workflows
Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
Experience with application build, testing, upgrades, and change management
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Epic Cadence certification or demonstrated Cadence expertise
