Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance file transfer solutions across two platforms: a homegrown cloud-based system and IBM Sterling File Gateway
Perform ongoing operational tasks including patch upgrades, vulnerability management, and production support
Work within agile teams (approximately 5 engineers per team) in a collaborative environment
Ensure secure file transfers, data encryption (PGP, AWS KMS), and adherence to cloud security protocols
Troubleshoot issues related to AWS services, file transfers, and application performance
Support interviews and knowledge sharing with other team members when necessary

Required

5+ years of experience (flexible based on depth and relevance of experience) with: IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) / Sterling Integrator (SI)
AWS Cloud Services
Strong understanding of: File transmission protocols
Encryption standards (PGP, AWS KMS)
Cloud and network security (e.g., firewall groups, encryption at rest/in transit)
Operational background including: Production support
Vulnerability management
Patch and configuration management
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a distributed team environment

Preferred

AWS certifications (preferred but not required)
Experience with EDI and data exchange protocols (preferred, but not a substitute for SFG experience)
Background in data integration or file transfer solutions at the enterprise level
