Responsibilities
Lead and scale the accounting function, overseeing a strong team of Managers, Senior Accountants, and Staff
Own the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors
Oversee treasury activities, including cash management and forecasting
Support M&A activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integrations
Lead and support accounting system improvements and process optimization initiatives
Manage inventory accounting and related controls
Oversee revenue accounting and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic and operational initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proven experience as an Assistant Controller, Controller, or Director of Accounting within a midsize, growing organization
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
