Responsibilities

Design and implement backend architecture using Supabase or Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Storage, Supabase SQL, Edge Functions). Preferred Supabase

Develop secure and scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile apps

Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and cloud infrastructure

Manage real-time data synchronization and optimize database queries

Ensure data security, role-based access control, and compliance with best practices

Implement CI/CD pipelines, serverless functions, and cloud deployment workflows

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend services for scalability

Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery

Required

Strong experience with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Realtime, Functions) or Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting). Preferred Supabase

Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, and serverless architecture

Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript

Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases

Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control)

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and testing frameworks
